"The Fourth"...and other things!

I am beginning to catch my breath....adoption...adjusting... back to work... "retired" from teaching(for now)...home with the babes...enjoying the summer! I have so many things that I am thinking about, praying about and asking God for direction in and for. Ethiopia has been on my heart in so many ways. Some of you were so quick to write immediately about your thoughts and experiences along the way to your children. Me...I guess I am slow that way and I am poor at capturing my thoughts and putting them into the written word. Thankful beyond measure and  really want to write about the journey to our beautiful daughters. I am not giving any promises but I am going to try to write about what is on my heart. Thank you to the one or two readers...I really have nothing to give you but who I really am. I am not funny or eloquent...and certainly not timely in my posts. I am a wife, mother, daughter, sister, niece, cousin, aunt and teacher...all of which I fail at every day. Saved by the grace of God and trying to live in light of the Gospel so that my children see the true redemption of their souls does not rest in what they do but who they are in Christ.  Here is a picture from July 4th...my how they have grown:)

Your little girls are so precious. I can't even imagine how your everyday life has changed with twins.

My heart is tugging towards adopting from Africa. However, my husband isn't feeling the same tug. (In fact, he's feeling no tug at all!) So, until then, I will continue following the reunion of precious children with their forever families.
